Corinne Turns 3!

I think Brian said it best when he wished a happy 16th birthday to his sweet 3-year-old girl. She definitely feels trapped in toddlerhood and is already a teen. 

To celebrate, we had a little slap-bang get-together and played in the driveway...

...danced and ate pink cake...

...opened presents...

...and if that girl didn't get a KITTEN from her little friend Camdyn.

Creative Movement!

Every Monday, I get to dance with 4 sweet 3-4 year old girls:

The premise of the class is that we are not there to focus on technique; we are there to learn confidence through movement.

And be silly. On purpose.

We read books, play freeze dance, eat a snack and build a ballet barre.  Here's Corinne holding an "elbow" and showing us her elbow.

No matter how they move and learn...

...these beautiful dancers know how to have a good time.
Then they go home and take a good dancer nap.  Zzzzz...
