Deep Thoughts by Henry and Svea

On the day we left for the beach, Svea said, "Our day is SO full of car."
This was before we even left...

After Svea said good-bye to the dog, she declared, "I can STILL feel the lick of Sugar."

(Overheard in Svea's bedroom):
Henry: No fair that the new baby gets to sleep in your room! Maybe we can move Sugar's crate in my room and she can sleep with me so I won't be alone.
Svea: Henry, you're never alone. God is always with you.
Henry: And Moses. Definitely Moses too.
Svea: Yeah, God AND Jesus AND Moses.
(these poor preacher's kids...)

When Henry walked up to the dinner table tonight, he looked at his plate and said, "Yeah, I think I'm gonna gag that up."

Thank you, Papa, for these great photos!

Memorial Day Catch Up

I'm behind.
This past Memorial Day we drove up to see my sister and her family and got to meet up with our dear friends, the Paganos.

First, sweet Miriam kept looking at me, concerned for my picture-taking addition to her cuteness:

And Annabelle was so cuddly. It's funny - I can imagine her making this same face when she is 15...and 25...and 35...

Here we are, trying to introduce Annabelle and Miriam (they are only a few weeks apart):

Henry, Lawson and Svea running in the field with the hot air balloons in the background. The balloons inflated, but never took off because there was a huge holiday storm blowing in:

And big girl Lydia, posing for the camera, and Svea and Henry over her shoulder:

Happy Memorial Day 2010!

PBC 2010

It was June in Alabama which means Princess Ballerina Camp, of course.

Last year was our first year, so we were well prepared for the crowns, pictures, stretching, music, magic of it all - so prepared that we brought two friends along. The more princesses, the merrier!

Thank you, Princess Kelly!!

...cares about sand in the bathing suit?

...loves Pop Tarts on the beach?

...thinks broken shells have feelings too?
